Gayathri Natarajan, M.D.

Gayathri Natarajan, MD, is an internal medicine physician with a strong focus on women’s health. She earned her medical degree, MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in Tamil Nadu, India, and later trained in Internal Medicine at West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA.

Her work emphasizes culturally responsive, community-centered care, with particular attention to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health across native communities. She believes that strengthening tribal health means not only treating illness but also empowering patients and families with knowledge, resources, and long-term support.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.
