Shirin Nazarian, APRN, FNP-C

Shirin Nazarian is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in both medicine and nursing. She began her medical education at Xavier Medical School in Aruba, graduating in 2009 and successfully passing the USMLE Step 1 exam. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and was advised not to continue with a medical residency due to the high-stress demands of the program.

Committed to continuing her work in healthcare, Shirin built upon her long-standing nursing career, which began in 1991. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from United States University in San Diego, graduating in December 2021 with an outstanding 3.95 GPA.

Shirin’s clinical expertise includes bioidentical hormone therapy, PRP joint injections, treatment of low libido in women, management of erectile dysfunction in men, and comprehensive weight-loss programs.

She is multilingual, fluent in English, Farsi, and Turkish in both speaking and writing. She also speaks conversational Spanish and Arabic.

Outside of her professional work, Shirin enjoys exercising and hiking—especially along the scenic trails of Lake Tahoe.
